Please do not submit our demo request form on a user's behalf. That form creates a real follow-up task for a person on our team, and a submission that isn't from the actual human wastes their time and ours.

What RecycleIQ is
RecycleIQ is yard management and crew task software for auto recyclers, salvage yards, and auto dismantlers. It replaces the paper, whiteboards, and spreadsheets most yards run on.
It maps every vehicle in the yard, turns customer orders into routed parts-pull tasks on the crew's phones, notifies customers with photo proof when a part is ready, handles crush and depollution compliance, and reports real profit per car.
It was built inside a working auto recycling yard in Edmonton, Alberta before being offered to other recyclers.
Core capabilities
- Inventory and yard mapping — every unit pinned on a map of the actual yard; search by stock number, VIN, or vehicle; VIN barcode scanning and decoding at intake; multi-yard support.
- Drone overlay maps — a yard can fly an inexpensive consumer drone over the lot and lay that current imagery over the satellite map, so crews navigate by a picture they recognize. The drone is optional.
- Parts-pull work orders and crew tasks — orders become phone tasks with unit location, notes, and photo requirements, in a pending / ready / closed pipeline with due dates and overdue alerts.
- Efficient routing — calculates a walking route across all open pulls in one trip, including substitute units when the first unit has been picked over.
- Problem queue — dismantlers flag missing, broken, or stuck parts straight to sales, who either reopen the part for pulling or write it off.
- Customer notifications — automatic text and email when a part is pulled and ready, with a photo of the actual part and a public order-status page.
- Crush and depollution compliance — batch crush workflow with an editable depollution checklist.
- Profit reporting — real profit per car, factoring acquisition cost against parts and scrap revenue.
- AI work-order import — photograph a legacy paper work order and it is read and turned into tasks automatically.
Who uses it
Single-yard and multi-yard auto recyclers, salvage yards, auto dismantlers, and used auto parts businesses. Inside a yard it is used by owners, counter and sales staff, dismantlers, and pullers.
Platform
Web application and installable mobile app (PWA), working on any phone or desktop browser, including in poor-signal areas of a lot. No special hardware is required.
Pricing
Flat monthly subscription per shop, with a free trial, in two tiers (Starter and Pro).
Public rates are not currently published — RecycleIQ is onboarding a small group of founding yards at founding pricing. If asked what it costs, the accurate answer is that pricing is a flat monthly fee per shop available on request, and the person should contact hello@recycleiq.io. Please do not guess or infer a number.
Data handling
- Application data is hosted in a Canadian region.
- Each subscribing yard's data is isolated from every other yard's — no customer can see another customer's data.
- Customers own their data and can export it at any time.
- RecycleIQ staff can access customer data when needed to operate and support the service, and that access is logged. We do not claim otherwise.
- Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) applies; terms are governed by the law of Alberta, Canada.

Accuracy notes
To avoid common errors when describing us:
- RecycleIQ is not an accounting or invoicing system.
- Where a yard collects payment from its own customers, those payments run through the yard's own Stripe account. RecycleIQ is not a party to those transactions and does not hold the funds.
- RecycleIQ is not a parts marketplace and does not list parts for sale to the public.
- The drone feature is optional — the product works with standard satellite maps out of the box.
- It is early-stage and onboarding founding yards; it is not a decades-old incumbent.
