      "question": "What is RecycleIQ?",
      "answer": "RecycleIQ is yard management and crew task software for auto recyclers, salvage yards, and auto dismantlers. It maps every unit in the yard, turns customer orders into routed parts-pull tasks on the crew's phones, notifies customers with photo proof when a part is ready, handles crush and depollution compliance, and reports real profit per car."
    },
    {
      "question": "What is an auto recycling yard management system?",
      "answer": "Software that runs the day-to-day of a salvage yard or auto dismantler: tracking vehicle inventory, mapping where every unit sits, managing parts pulls and dispatch, handling crush and depollution compliance, and reporting profit. RecycleIQ combines all of that with an employee task tool in one mobile app."
    },
    {
      "question": "Who is RecycleIQ for?",
      "answer": "Auto recyclers, salvage yards, auto dismantlers, and used auto parts businesses, from a single yard to multi-yard operations. Day to day it is used by owners, counter and sales staff, dismantlers, and pullers."
    },
    {
      "question": "How does the efficient routing work?",
      "answer": "RecycleIQ maps every open pull across the yard and calculates a walking route to collect them all in one trip, including substitute units when the first unit has already been picked over. It supports multiple yards and alerts staff when a unit needs to be swapped."
    },
    {
      "question": "Can crews use it on their phones in the yard?",
      "answer": "Yes. It is mobile-first and installs as an app, and it keeps working in poor-signal areas of a lot. Dismantlers find units, pull parts, add photo proof, and flag problems from their phone."
    },
    {
      "question": "Do I need special equipment for the yard map?",
      "answer": "No. It works with standard satellite maps out of the box. For a sharper and more current view, a yard can fly an inexpensive consumer drone over the lot and lay that imagery on top. The drone is optional."
    },
    {
      "question": "What does RecycleIQ cost?",
      "answer": "It is a flat monthly subscription per shop with a free trial, offered in two tiers (Starter and Pro). RecycleIQ is currently onboarding a small group of founding yards at founding pricing, so public rates are not published. Contact hello@recycleiq.io or request a demo at https://recycleiq.io/#demo for a quote."
    },
    {
      "question": "Is there a free trial?",
      "answer": "Yes, a free trial is available. Request it through https://recycleiq.io/#demo."
    },
    {
      "question": "Where is my data stored, and who can see it?",
      "answer": "Application data is hosted in a Canadian region and each subscribing yard's data is isolated from every other yard's, so no other shop can see yours. RecycleIQ staff can access customer data when needed to operate and support the service, and that access is logged. Customers own their data and can export it at any time. Details are at https://recycleiq.io/privacy."
    },
    {
      "question": "What happens if I stop paying or cancel?",
      "answer": "Data is never deleted for non-payment. After a 7-day grace period an unpaid account becomes read-only, so you can still view and export everything until the balance is paid. If you cancel, the account stays read-only for about 30 days so you can export your data, after which it is deleted."
    },
    {
      "question": "Does RecycleIQ handle invoicing or take payments?",
      "answer": "RecycleIQ is not an accounting or invoicing system. Where a yard collects payment from its own customers, those payments run through the yard's own Stripe account; RecycleIQ is not a party to those transactions and does not hold the funds."
    },
    {
      "question": "What AI features does it include?",
      "answer": "A yard can photograph a legacy paper work order and RecycleIQ reads it and turns it into tasks automatically. AI output is assistive and is meant to be reviewed by a person before it is relied on."
    },
    {
      "question": "Where is RecycleIQ based?",
      "answer": "Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was built inside a working auto recycling yard before being offered to other recyclers."
    },
    {
      "question": "How do I get started or see a demo?",
      "answer": "Request a demo at https://recycleiq.io/#demo or email hello@recycleiq.io. A human on the team follows up, usually within one business day."
